There’s something about finding feet sexy that is considered weird and freaky. There’s a level of embarrassment attached to this for me, and for many other people who ever mention it. I have felt the puce red colour surge to my face when I’ve mentioned that I think feet are pretty, and the face of a lady recoils with the expression, “Huh?” plastered across it. It seems that you are thought to have devious and strange sexual desires if you find yourself gawping at a pretty pair of feet. Why is this so?
I understand that feet aren’t sexual organs, I mean, this truth is not confusing to me. But why is it OK to kiss someone's back, arms, shoulders, hands, stomach, neck, legs… everything! They aren’t sexual organs either. But often when I have kissed a woman’s feet, they find it strange, and I’ve been told on several occasions that no one has ever done that to them before. Why? It’s just the same as every other part of the body, right?
It’s actually gone a step further for me, and I’m not sure if it’s because it’s considered taboo or my biology is just inclined that way; but not only do I find them pretty — I find them outrageously hot! Nails painted with pretty colours that compliment the skin tone, perfectly arranged toes that go down like a staircase from big to small, or even slightly wonky and misshaped toes with knobbly bits, those are so hot too. Even the skin of the sole I find to be gorgeous and the sight of a lady on her knees, with her bare soles facing upwards, is like a slice of personalised heaven for me. Or seeing a lady sit in nothing but my t-shirt (I think I have a bit of a fetish for seeing women dressed in my t-shirts, too) with her knees crossed by her side, toes pointed — it’s like my kryptonite.
As long as good hygiene is practiced then my eyes are drawn and dragged in their direction. All I want to do is look at them, GAZE UPON THEM, feel them, touch them.
I’ve even gotten into the habit of sticking them in my mouth recently. What I enjoy about this the most is that I always get the same reaction from my girlfriend, who unleashes an outburst of energy, like she’s being seized, eaten by her man who can’t get enough of her and every particle on her body. I think the sound she makes, that vampish squirming moan, has become addictive for me too. It’s like a sexual symphony.
I’ve tried to discern the difference between the feet and the rest of the body, but I struggle. The skin on the top of the foot is beautifully thin and always soft. The skin on the sole of the foot is very different, slightly hardened, and depending on the skin tone, it changes in hue also. For instance, white skin goes very pink and sometimes yellowish, whereas dark skin can go very pale. I don’t know why, but this part of the body, whether I’m looking at it through a mirror, or I can lean over and see it— lights me on fire!
I haven’t graduated to full-on freakiness yet, and I’m not sure if I ever will. I’ve seen men in porn videos receive footjobs between two lubricated, clasping arches of feet… but honestly, that has never appealed to me. It’s just how they look and feel that I like, is that weirder than wanting a footjob? I don’t know.
A girl I was seeing before got awfully alarmed when I complimented her on her feet. She had perfect feet, I must say, she could’ve been a foot model. But when we were having sex and I was behind her, feeling her body, kissing her, she cried out,
“Don’t touch my feet!”
With a pointed finger and everything… I wanted to touch them even more, I’m a weirdo.
Fetish: a form of sexual desire in which gratification is linked to an abnormal degree to a particular object, item of clothing, part of the body, etc.
According to Google Dictionary.
I guess that means I have a foot fetish.
According to Men’s Health Magazine, a foot fetish is a “multi-sensory experience.” For many it’s about licking, sniffing, and for others, it’s about looking, touching, worshipping. There is not a normal and abnormal way to do it. What I found most interesting, according to a poll in Men’s Health, is that 18% of heterosexual men describe themselves as having a foot fetish, whilst only 5% of heterosexual women do. That’s nearly 1 in 5 men, versus 1 in 20 women. What a huge degree of separation. Could this be true?
According to Psychology Today, they purport that, “foot fetishes are among the most common sexual fetishes.” Perhaps this explains why they are the butt of most jokes because they are the most known and most common, which would suggest that they are the most harmless, and therefore the easiest to make fun of.
I find it fascinating that such a low proportion of women fetishize them compared to men. Could it be something to do with dominance? There’s something I find so sexy about a woman with bare feet lying on a bed, she’s vulnerable, beautiful, naked… it drives me wild. And let’s be honest, women’s feet are generally prettier than men’s. According to a straight man like myself, that is.
I’ll continue exploring my foot fetish with my girlfriend, who thankfully, doesn’t mind me being a total weirdo. She has even asked me if she could do the same to me, i.e. suck on my toes. I said, sure, skittishly… For some reason it makes me feel uncomfortable to have her doing that, and yet I love to do it to her. She hasn’t done it yet, she probably will soon. Perhaps a second article on foot fetishes is imminent.
